About this puja
Rudrabhishek is the most revered of all Shiva pujas — the ceremonial bathing of the Jyotirlinga with panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar) and Ganga jal, accompanied by the chanting of the Rudra mantras from the Yajurveda.
At Baidyanathdham, this abhishek is performed directly on the sacred Jyotirlinga. Your name, gotra and wish are recited in the sankalp before the abhishek begins, so the entire vidhi is offered on your behalf.
